CST has been enjoying an event-filled summer!

Cascade Systems Technology (CST) has been having a busy summer!

• First, we were proud to have hosted twelve local high school students to our facility organized by the Northwest Career & College Readiness team! These bright and engaged youngsters toured our factory floor and discussed the numerous opportunities to work in high tech manufacturing. As a growing Oregon-based technology company — and as another example of our previously discussed support for STEM — CST is dedicated to cultivating and fostering new career opportunities in the electronics industry. In fact, in addition to this recent visit, we currently have two interns working at CST today, each of them hired from the local high schools in the area. A big “thank you” to Claudia Rizo Mendoza of the Hillsboro School District for helping organize this event!
• Second, after being named by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year” in 2023, CST was honored to participate in this year’s Hillsboro Fourth of July Parade. It was truly a beautiful day with a record turnout — and it was particularly and truly an honor to have Jim, 88 years old and a Navy Vet, chauffeuring us in his 1942 WWII Ford Jeep. Thank you for your service, Jim! We also want to take this opportunity to once again thank the Washington County Chamber of Commerce for including us in this fantastic event!
