“We at CST strive to build 100% defect free products and are committed to meeting or exceeding the requirements of our customers by continually improving our technology, processes, and services.”

CST Conflict Minerals Policy

Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act mandates publicly traded companies to disclose “conflict minerals,” (gold, cassiterite, coltan, tin, tungsten, and tantalum) and report if they are necessary to their product supply chain. Minerals sourced from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries are considered “conflict minerals” due to armed groups financing human rights violations with these mineral sales. The purpose of this disclosure is to promote transparency, raise awareness of the situation in the DRC, and to encourage ethical business practices.

As a result, Cascade Systems Technology is deeply committed to sourcing and assembling conflict-free products. We do not purchase minerals directly from mines or smelters. CST also encourages suppliers which use tantalum, tin, gold, and tungsten, to submit this information. If reports of conflict minerals arise, CST will take necessary steps to address this situation. We expect our suppliers to share our goals of a conflict-free supply chain.
